During the first seven months of 2026, the country recorded significant growth in cruise tourism, with 488,567 cruise passengers passing through the national port system — a 21.6% increase compared with the same period last year. During the same period, Panama recorded 143 cruise ship calls, compared with 119 a year earlier.
